| The El Gouna Library was officially inaugurated by First Lady Suzanne Mubarak. After the inaugural plaque was unveiled and the customary ribbon cut, presentations included a digital demonstration of the book repository. The El Gouna Library is affiliated to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and its ink-and-paper collection is thus far comprised of 750 books donated by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, completed by an impressive array of online resources and digital collections.
